The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a Consultant Gastroenterologist based at Chase Farm Hospital and Barnet Hospital. The post involves leading outpatient and endoscopy services and contributing to an on-call rota within a multidisciplinary team.
The successful candidate will join a well-established gastroenterology unit, deliver high quality patient care, teach trainees, and participate in service development across both sites.
We are very pleased to offer the appointment of a Consultant Gastroenterologist at the Royal Free London Hospitals NHS Trust. The post is based at both Chase Farm Hospital and Barnet Hospital. This job offers an exciting opportunity for the successful applicant to join a committed team of consultants in this well-developed service. The appointed consultant is supported by 6 resident doctors: three Specialist Registrars, two IMT1/2 doctors, 1 FY1 doctor. The physicians have a close working relationship with the Radiology, Histopathology, Hepatology, Hepato-pancreaticobiliary, and Colorectal surgery. The appointee will join a multidisciplinary team to deliver Gastroenterology outpatient and endoscopy services at Chase Farm Hospital along with participating in the Gastroenterology on-call rota at Barnet Hospital, covering inpatient care and emergency endoscopy lists.
