This post offers an exciting opportunity for the successful applicant to join a busy, happy, and committed team of consultants in thiswell-developed and expanding service,with close working relationship with Radiology,Histopathology,Hepatology,Hepatopancreaticobiliary,and Colorectal surgery services. Applicants will be expected to be experts in the assessment of patients with hepatology and gastroenterology conditions and to deliver upper GI endoscopic interventions.

There is a high burden of hepatology conditions, including viral hepatitis, in the populations the trust serves and we have excellent links with our tertiary partners at the Royal Free with regular viral hepatology MDTS and ready access to other specialist meetings (including autoimmune and cirrhosis MDTS as well as good links with the transplant team). We are all committed to working together to improve liver care in the region. We would be delighted to support a subspecialist interest.

Applicants for the post should have a CCT and GMC Specialist Registration with a license. A fullaccreditationin diagnostic Gastroscopyismandatoryforthis post and independent expertise in upper GI bleeding list is also necessary. Experience in colonoscopy is desirable, but not essential.
