Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a full-time substantive General Adult Consultant Psychiatrist based at Tameside Hospital, working with the North CMHT at Trust HQ. The service operates sectorially and is staffed by three Consultants. The post has NW Deanery CT and LTFT ACP allocations. Please see the attached Job Description.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the Trust's development and service redesign initiatives. Tameside offers a strong teaching environment, with responsibilities including mentoring medical and nursing staff, and medical students. The Trust maintains active research collaborations and encourages Consultant involvement in service user and carer groups.
To provide high-quality mental health care for working-aged adults with severe and enduring mental health issues, both inpatient and outpatient. To collaborate closely with North CMHT ensuring integrated care. To support service development through participation in local and divisional meetings.
