This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist in Broadmoor Hospital.
In 2019, the hospital moved into a new, modern, high secure facility designed to meet national and local policy requirements. The environment ensures safety and security for patients, staff, visitors, and the public, while maximizing modern clinical care delivery.
We seek a forensic psychiatrist who is enthusiastic, committed to providing high-quality patient care, possesses proven clinical and leadership skills, and can manage highly complex patients in a secure setting. The role offers a £20K recruitment and retention payment in recognition of these skills.

Main Duties :
The main duties include: acting as Responsible Clinician for patients on ISAT (Increased Support and Assertive Treatment) wards, providing clinical leadership to multidisciplinary teams, serving as a clinical supervisor (training provided), participating in non-resident on-call duties, assessing referred patients, liaising with stakeholders, and engaging in quality improvement and audit projects.
