Job summary

Medacs Healthcare is recruiting for a Locum Consultant in Ear, Nose and Throat with UK-wide opportunities. Location: Northampton. Rate: £90-£105 per hour. Start date 01 September 2026, until 01 December 2026. Flexible weekend or evening work to support NHS needs.

Essential requirements include MBBS or equivalent, GMC registration, DBS check, and UK Right to Work. Desirable CCT in ENT. Regions across the UK available with dedicated support from Medacs.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree is required.
• Full GMC registration with a licence to practise is required.
• A current DBS check or willingness to undergo one is required.
• UK Right to Work is required.
• Strong communication and teamworking skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Delivering specialist clinical services in line with NHS standards.
• Supporting patient flow and reducing waiting lists.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation.

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree
• Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
• Relevant postgraduate qualification (e.g. FRCS,
• A current Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check or PVG check – or a willingness to undergo one as part of the registration process
• UK Right to Work
• Strong communication and teamworking skills

Desirable:

• CCT in Ear, Nose and Throat (or within 6 months of achieving it)
