Job summary

18 Week Support is seeking experienced Consultant Dermatologists to support 2WW and General Dermatology clinics across NHS services. You will join a multidisciplinary clinical team across NHS sites to improve patient access to care and reduce waiting times.

As a Consultant Dermatologist, you will assess, diagnose and manage patients in 2WW and General Dermatology pathways, deliver high-quality patient-centred care, and contribute to safe, effective clinical governance within the NHS framework.

Qualifications

• GMC registration with Specialist Register in Dermatology is required.
• Previous NHS clinical experience is essential.
• Experience delivering 2WW and/or General Dermatology clinics is required.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic and decision-making skills are essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.
• Commitment to safe, effective and patient-centred care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality dermatology clinics across 2WW and General Dermatology pathways.
• Assess, diagnose and manage patients with appropriate treatment plans.
• Provide specialist clinical advice to patients and colleagues.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and communicate outcomes.
• Collaborate with the wider clinical team to ensure safe patient care.
