A leading healthcare provider in Leeds is looking for a clinical leader to enhance their Child and Young People Mental Health Service. The role involves providing strategic direction, clinical leadership, and delivering high-quality direct care to diverse communities. Ideal candidates should be on the Specialist Register and possess excellent communication skills. This position has variable working hours and offers opportunities for professional development.

You will be welcoming, with a positive approach to seeing children & young people with a range of presentations within our core service. You will hold a caseload, support new assessments & reviews. You will be a motivated & reliable colleague, committed to developing as a team & will provide clinical leadership & support for local & whole service MDTs.The post is for 10 sessions p/w. We encourage those wishing to work part-time or in a job share to apply.
There are on call responsibilities with this post. You will have an identified base but will be expected to work across the city. Good communication skills are essential. Previous knowledge of healthcare systems would be beneficial although training will be provided.You will work with GMC guidance for working in multi-agency & multi-disciplinary teams & will be expected to work flexibly to meet service need. The ability to travel is essential along with a flexible & adaptable attitude to your daily work & emerging priorities.
