About The Opportunity

As a Consultant, your time will be divided as follows:

  • 70% conducting secondary research
  • 30% conducting primary research

You will be part of a fast-growing PE-backed business that allows high-performing employees to make an impact and contribute to business growth. You will support the development and commercialization of portfolios, assets, and brands by integrating therapeutic, clinical, and commercial expertise to help clients make confident decisions.

Your responsibilities include collecting and analyzing market, competitor, and stakeholder information to support intelligence and insight engagements across client product and company life cycles. Knowledge of drug development and commercialisation is desirable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evidence Generation: sourcing, analyzing, and reporting scientific, clinical, commercial, corporate, or regulatory published information.
  • Primary Research: engaging with industry experts to understand market trends and competitive positioning.
  • Analysis and Reporting: collaborating to analyze findings, develop insights, and prepare client presentations.
  • Conference Attendance: engaging with key industry conferences, symposia, and posters.
  • Knowledge Assets Maintenance: building data repositories linked to therapeutic areas and market dynamics.
  • Communication: effectively communicating with Japanese-speaking clients, partners, or team members.
Required Experience And Skills
  • At least two or more degrees in life sciences (e.g., neuroscience, biotechnology, MPharm, MSc/MBA).
  • Multiple years of consulting experience, especially in oncology, immunology, neuroscience, or biosimilars.
  • Experience with primary research in the pharmaceutical sector.
  • Proficiency in Japanese (spoken and written) at a professional or native level.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills across language and cultural boundaries.
  • Analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Understanding of drug development and commercialization processes.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Enthusiasm for expanding skills and knowledge of the business and market.
  • Fluency in English.
