Consultant in Community Paediatrics

Hours i.e. 10Pas/40 hours per week

£107,144 - £142,369 per annum pro rata

(Part-time applications will be considered)

We are currently looking to appoint a suitably qualified Consultant in Community Paediatrics.

The successful applicant will be based in Raigmore Hospital doing clinics in Inverness, in addition to a remit of peripheral clinics on the Isle of Skye.

We are a small and committed community paediatric team based in the beautiful Highlands region of Scotland. As a team we consist of 6 community paediatric consultants (4.4 WTE), 6 Associate specialists and ADHD specialist nursing team. We have close working relationships with CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services) and allied health professional colleagues. CAMHS, acute paediatrics and community paediatric outpatients and offices are all co-located at The Birnie Centre/Morven House within Raigmore Hospital campus. The community paediatric team have established multidisciplinary working relationships with multiple teams including specialist nursing teams, community children’s nursing team and visiting specialist consultants from main health boards in Scotland and this is central to the delivery of our paediatric services. We also have an excellent in-house administrative team.
