Job description
Overview

Advert may close early if sufficient volume of applications is reached.

North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Trust and South Tees Hospitals NHS Trust have collaborated to form a group structure known as University Hospital Tees. Within this structure the pathology departments have been working together to create the Tees Valley Pathology Service with the development of a central processing hub on the James Cook site and two Essential Service Labs (ESL) on the North Tees (NTH) and Friarage (FHN) hospital sites which will support acute and clinically urgent work as appropriate.

We are actively seeking suitable candidates who will complement and develop existing services, in conjunction with our established team of Chemical Pathologists and Consultant Clinical Scientists. We anticipate that this post will be primarily based at NTH once our future accommodation plans are completed later this year, but acknowledge that support will be required across all of our sites as appropriate.
