Job Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed Consultant Clinical Psychologist to work in an exceptional rehabilitation service based in St Neots, Cambridgeshire. You will work for one of the UK's leading healthcare providers.

This service offers care, therapeutic, and rehabilitation pathways for individuals affected by neurological or mental health conditions, where challenging behavior may be the primary impairment.

Requirements:

  • Registered with the HCPC
  • BPS accredited
  • Chartered Member of the BPS

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver strategic and clinical strategies to expand and develop the neurological care pathway.
  • Identify and develop new services for neurological conditions.
  • Ensure therapeutic approaches are evidence-based and their effectiveness is measured.
  • Support the transdisciplinary team in understanding and applying framework concepts and skills.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Engagement in ABI networks
  • Post-doctoral research methodology and data analysis experience
  • Experience with patients detained under the Mental Health Act and forensic mental health settings (desirable)

Salary and Benefits:

  • Up to £70,000 per annum
