An established industry player is seeking a consultant-level clinical psychologist to lead pain management psychology pathways. This is a consultant-level post focusing on pain management psychology pathways, requiring extensive clinical experience in pain management and broader physical health and rehabilitation psychology.
You will provide operational leadership for inpatient and outpatient pain management psychology pathways, alongside direct clinical input, and offer consultation and MDT support across the wider pain service.
The post holder will be a core member of the consultant leadership team in CHPS, supporting the Head of Service and colleagues in strategic service development, providing clinical leadership and line management within the service.
We seek an enthusiastic, confident, and flexible practitioner experienced in working with patients facing complex psychological and physical health challenges.

Your responsibilities include developing specialised clinical health psychology pathways for patients with persistent pain, based on NICE guidelines and standards in pain management. You will also provide teaching, training, supervision, and support for MDT colleagues to promote psychologically informed care.
Collaboration is essential. You will work closely with psychology colleagues, MDT members, and key stakeholders, demonstrating leadership and experience at a similar or higher level.
You will undertake extended roles within the Clinical Health Psychology Services and work flexibly across services as directed by the Head of Service.
You will ensure high-quality patient care aligned with the Trust's strategic objectives, providing managerial support and professional leadership to psychology team members across physical health specialties.
