The shift pattern for this post is Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
A permanent 1WTE B8C vacancy for a Consultant Clinical or Counselling Psychologist has arisen in Rossdale CMHT in South Glasgow. You’ll join a multi-disciplinary team comprising of Nursing, Psychiatry, Occupational Therapy and Psychology and lead the delivery of the Psychology service to adults receiving care and treatment in the CMHT.
You’ll line manage and supervise the B8A Principal Psychologists in the team and you’ll be responsible for ensuring the robust governance of all psychological therapies and interventions being delivered by MDT colleagues and by trainees and assistant psychologists working in the team.
You will therefore have appropriate and up-to-date clinical supervision training. You’ll be line managed by the Psychology Professional Lead for Adult Mental Health in South Glasgow and join the large and dynamic South Psychology Dept where you’ll be well supported and have access to CPD opportunities.
You’ll hold a Doctorate in Clinical or Counselling Psychology and be registered as such with HCPC. You’ll have extensive experience of delivering psychological therapies to working age adults in a mental health service. You’ll have a proven track record as a senior clinician and in service improvement.
