University Hospitals Bristol and Weston (UHBW) NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Consultant Clinical Oncologist with specialist skills in Neuro oncology and Thyroid cancers. This is a substantive post based at the Bristol site, joining established teams to deliver comprehensive care including outpatient clinics, ward rounds, radiotherapy planning, MDT attendance, and on-call duties.
The adult Oncology department comprises 36 consultants working across Bristol and Weston, serving a catchment population of 2.2 million. The radiotherapy department offers IMRT, high dose rate brachytherapy, SABR, Gamma Knife stereotactic radiosurgery, and molecular radiotherapy. Systemic anticancer treatment is provided in a 30-bed inpatient unit, a chemotherapy day unit, and two community units.
Applicants must be GMC-registered with a valid license to practice, have completed Specialist Training (or equivalent), and be on the GMC Specialist Register or have a CCT in Oncology within six months of interview.
