Help us shape the future of cancer care at the Royal United Hospitals Bath. We're seeking a dedicated Consultant Oncologist who is ready to be part of something bold.

We are recruiting a 10 PA substantive Consultant Oncologist with a specialist interests in colorectal and gynaecology cancers. You will be joining a dynamic and friendly team of both established and new oncologists who value teamwork and input into many national roles.

You will be based in our state of the art Dyson Cancer Centre which opened in 2024 at the RUH. It was purpose-built to change the way we deliver cancer care. This flagship facility is more than just bricks and mortar - it's a place of hope, innovation, and healing - and now we have this opportunity for a dedicated and ambitious oncologist to join our cohesive team who is committed to providing the local population with excellent care.

You'll be part of a service that is already delivering outstanding care, but now has the space, ambition, and energy to do even more. Main duties of the job

The roles are 10 PAs with 8.5:1.5 DCC:SPA split providing full oncological radiotherapy and systemic services for patients with colorectal and gynaecology cancers.

There is scope for less than full time working for applicants wishing to work less than 10 PAs.

For first year consultants there will be a reduction in outpatient clinic commitment with mentoring, including a new consultant induction programme, to enable new consultants to find their feet, build confidence and relationships within the department and wider trust.
