Remedy Tutors is seeking a Desk Assistant / Resourcer to join our busy tutor team in the United Kingdom. You will find, contact and register new tutors, predominantly over the phone, and build relationships to expand our network. This fast-paced, people-focused role offers full training and ongoing support, with no previous recruitment experience required.

A positive, can-do attitude is essential. You'll be part of a supportive team contributing to educational support for looked-after children

Remedy Tutors is looking for an outgoing, enthusiastic and motivated Desk Assistant / Resourcer to join our busy and growing tutor team.

We specialise in providing tuition and educational support to looked-after children and young people with special educational needs, and our tutors play an incredibly important role in helping the young people we work with reach their potential.

About the role

As a Resourcer, your main responsibility will be to find, contact and register new tutors to join our growing network.

This is a fast-paced, varied and people-focused role, with a large part of your day spent speaking with potential candidates over the telephone. You'll be responsible for building relationships with tutors, discussing opportunities with them and guiding them through the registration process.

No previous recruitment or resourcing experience is required. We'll provide full on-the-job training and ongoing support to help you develop the skills and confidence you need to succeed.

What we're really looking for is someone who is outgoing, driven, confident on the phone and eager to learn.

The ideal candidate will have:

• An excellent and professional telephone manner
• A confident, outgoing and friendly personality
• Excellent communication, numeracy and literacy skills

• Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office and Excel
