Qualifications

• FRCA or equivalent.
• GMC Specialist Register in Anaesthesia or eligible for entry within 6 months of interview.
• Subspecialist training in a relevant anaesthesia subspecialty.
• MD, PhD or other postgraduate qualification (PGCert, PGDip, MSc).
• Capable of working in a multi-disciplinary team.
• Enthusiasm for service development and teaching.
• Prepared to work in shared office space.

Responsibilities

• Share of clinical duties within the Department of Anaesthesia.
• Involvement in Clinical Governance including audit, quality, guidelines/pathways, appraisal and risk management.
• Member of the Consultant Staff Committee and contribute to its work.
• Work across hospital sites as required by service needs.
