Job description
Overview

The department of Anaesthetics is currently looking for 3 Consultant Anaesthetists to join the team. Each post will have a varied sub‑specialty interest such as Vascular, Neurosurgery, UGI, Gynaeoncology, Trauma/Orthopaedics, and Pre‑assessment. The Consultant will provide anaesthetic services at both Trust sites – Hull Royal Infirmary and Castle Hill Hospital – and will also provide on‑call cover for CEPOD theatres in Hull Royal Infirmary at 1 in 24 with prospective cover.

Responsibilities
  • Provide theatre cover as outlined in the agreed timetable.
  • Deliver an Anaesthetic Service in accordance with the agreed timetable and subsequent job plan.
  • Provide 1 in 24 on‑call cover for CEPOD theatres in Hull Royal Infirmary.
  • Supervise trainee anaesthetic staff within the Trust.
