An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, enthusiastic, and motivated Senior Pharmacist to join the Liver Pharmacy Team at King's College Hospital as a 9-12 month maternity leave cover.
The Liver Unit at King’s College Hospital is a world-renowned tertiary referral centre for liver transplantation, complex hepatology, viral hepatitis, hepatobiliary surgery, and liver intensive care.
The post holder deputises for the team leader, Liver and Private Patient Services, and acts as the lead for Liver Transplant Services. Responsibilities include providing a highly specialised pharmacy service to the in-patient liver wards and liver theatres, and actively participating in pharmacist-led outpatient clinics. Excellent communication skills are required to provide specialist pharmacy advice to primary and secondary care healthcare professionals and patients.
