Job Description:

Role Overview

We are expanding our panel of consultant residential Assessors and Valuers to undertake portfolio pricing assessments, valuations, and inspections (both internally and externally) of social housing properties. We work across the country and are recruiting in all areas of England and Wales.

The role

You will inspect tenanted residential portfolios, complete inspection forms, take street and portfolio photographs, and use your research to provide feedback on the local property market and housing stock. You will also complete an Excel schedule recording market pricing and rental estimates based on market research and discussions with local agents.

You will provide a consolidated overview of factors impacting the local residential market and attributes influencing property pricing.

This work is on a casual basis, paid hourly (rates to be agreed), with no retainer. Projects vary from a day to several weeks. The role may suit part-time or retired surveyors or those seeking to supplement existing estate agency or valuation work.

Some travel and overnight accommodation may be necessary where justified.

Proficiency in local market knowledge, Microsoft Office, and time management is essential. Training will be provided, along with ongoing ad hoc training as needed.

Requirements
  • MRICS/FRICS preferred; relevant or transferable experience considered
  • Full driving license & own car with suitable insurance
  • Open to property professionals from residential, commercial, investment, or rural backgrounds

The Valuation team supports lenders, housing associations, and local authorities by providing market intelligence and valuation support.
