A leading health trust in London is seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist for the Mother and Baby Unit. The role involves providing clinical leadership, managing patient care, and supporting service innovations within perinatal psychiatry. An exciting substantive, 5 programmed activity (PA) consultant psychiatrist post at the Channi Kumar Mother and Baby Unit, Bethlem Royal Hospital. The successful candidate will work with multidisciplinary colleagues in the Mother and Baby Unit and linked perinatal community services across South London and Maudsley (SLaM) and The South London Partnership, as well as nationally, to deliver high quality, safe, evidence-based care. The post holder will support service innovations, quality improvements and clinical research, and education in perinatal psychiatry within SLaM, providing strong clinical leadership within the team.
This is a role to provide flexible clinical leadership and consultant responsibility within the Mother and Baby Unit, working closely with other members of the multidisciplinary team including an existing consultant.
£109,725 to £145,478 per year plus £2,162 London Allowance.
