Une entreprise de consultation médicale basée à Londres cherche un Consultant Psychiatre Pédiatrique pour mener des évaluations psychiatriques et travailler en collaboration avec des équipes multidisciplinaires. Ce poste exige une solide expérience en santé mentale pédiatrique et une spécialisation en psychiatrie. Qualifications

Job Description

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for adults, utilizing evidence-based assessments to inform diagnosis and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychologists, social workers, and educators, to ensure holistic care for pediatric patients.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating psychotherapy, medication management, and family support.
  • Monitor and adjust treatment protocols based on patient progress, ensuring ongoing evaluation and responsiveness to changing needs.
  • Provide psychoeducation to families about mental health disorders, treatment options, and strategies to support their child's development.
  • Advocate for mental health needs within the healthcare system and community resources.
  • Supervise and mentor junior medical staff and trainees, fostering a collaborative learning environment.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with specialization in psychiatry and pediatrics, ensuring a strong foundation in child mental health.
  • Board certification in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Pediatric Medicine to validate expertise in both disciplines.
  • Qualifications: Full GMC registration or eligibility for GMC registration.
  • Experience: Consultant-level experience or equivalent senior positions in their resident
  • country.
  • A minimum of 7 years of direct clinical experience in both psychiatric and pediatric environments, demonstrating depth of knowledge.
  • Proven ability to work in a multidisciplinary team, showcasing strong interpersonal skills and collaborative spirit.
  • Fluency in English and, preferably, a second language to assist diverse patient populations.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex medical information and apply it effectively in clinical settings.
  • Compassionate demeanor and excellent communication skills, essential for engaging with children and their families.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development, keeping abreast of the latest research and treatment modalities.
  • Experience in crisis management and intervention techniques, ensuring readiness to address acute mental health situations.
  • Cultural competence, with an understanding of the diverse backgrounds of patients and their unique mental health needs.
