? Job Opportunity: Independent Educational Psychologist (Outside IR35, up to £850/day)
Location: Hybrid – Remote with travel to Jersey (expenses covered)
Rate: Up to £850 per day (Outside IR35)
Start Date: ASAP – Supervision required from September
Contract Type: Flexible consultancy arrangement

We are seeking an experienced Independent Educational Psychologist (EP) to play a key role in a high-impact transformation project. This is a rare opportunity to help shape and re-design the structure, policies, and model of our Educational Psychology team in Jersey, while also supporting the development of our current staff through expert supervision.

? About the Role You’ll be part of a strategic initiative to reimagine how Educational Psychology services are delivered. Your role will combine consultancy, leadership, and hands-on input across the following areas:

  • Redesigning policies and processes

  • Shaping job descriptions and advising on staff retention strategies

  • Advising on increasing capacity and resource planning

  • Recommending improvements to the team structure and working model

Alongside the project, you will also provide professional supervision to the current EP team, including the Principal EP and two Educational Psychologists.

? What We’re Looking For
  • Substantial experience as an Educational Psychologist

  • Proven expertise in service transformation and team development

  • Confidence in leading and advising on strategic decisions

  • Experience providing supervision and mentorship to fellow professionals

  • Local knowledge of Jersey or similar small jurisdictions is a plus

? Working Arrangements
  • Flexible commitment – tailored around your availability (weekly/monthly scheduling can be agreed)

  • Travel to Jersey required at key stages of the project; the rest can be done remotely

  • Initial scope and time commitment to be discussed with shortlisted candidates

? Timeline
  • Supervision element must commence in September
