A leading veterinary organization in Bristol seeks an enthusiastic GP Vet to work in a supportive and modern clinic setting. This full-time position offers a collaborative environment with experienced staff and numerous professional development opportunities, along with substantial employee benefits including extended leave and private medical insurance.
We are looking for an enthusiastic GP Vet to work in our single vet, consult-only clinic, with the opportunity for a fixed shift at one of our other branches. We have a lovely, welcoming team across 8 sites in Bristol and Cheltenham, run by experienced Clinical Directors and Senior Vets, many of whom have been with the practice for over a decade.
What's on offer for you?
You will have support from experienced colleagues with Certificates in Surgery, Cardiology, Feline Medicine, and Small Animal Medicine. We also have certificates in progress and expertise in areas such as Behaviour, Herbal Medicine, and Acupuncture. Your working week will be over four days, and you will participate in the shared weekend rota. There are no night duties or bank holiday work, as our Redland Hospital hosts the Vets Now Bristol Clinic.
Opportunities with Clifton Vets
Our Clifton clinic is a single vet, consult-only site, but the role may include a fixed shift at our busy hospital, with support from our experienced team. There is also potential for management responsibilities if interested.
Join our supportive team
The site will undergo refurbishment soon, allowing us to maintain high standards of care. You will be supported by experienced receptionists and a registered vet nurse. We are ideally seeking a full-time candidate willing to join the weekend rota, but part-time applications are welcome.
About You
Applicants should have more than 1 year of post-graduation experience and be confident in performing GP work, including consultations. As the sole vet in the Clifton branch, confidence in sole-charge work is essential. The ideal candidate will be organized and a good communicator with clients and colleagues.
