A global insurer seeks experienced Construction Underwriters for part-time or full-time roles. Responsibilities include managing broker relationships, underwriting contracts, and enhancing processes. Ideal candidates will possess strong communication skills and relevant industry knowledge.

What will you be doing?
You will work with your team and report to a Business Manager, interacting daily with brokers and intermediaries. Your goal is to provide excellent service to customers and stakeholders, delivering quality and timely solutions. This involves taking ownership of your workload and supporting colleagues to achieve team objectives. We value continuous improvement, so we encourage you to suggest enhancements to our processes.
Key responsibilities:
• Develop profitable business with Construction brokers & customers.
• Manage client and broker relationships, interacting with risk managers.
• Oversee the service proposition on key broker accounts.
• Underwrite and negotiate insurance contracts.
• Demonstrate knowledge of systems, products, and processes to deliver a first-class experience.
• Engage in self-development, coaching others, and promoting process efficiency.
• Contribute to a positive team culture.
What are we looking for?
Experienced Construction Underwriters seeking growth or new challenges at a large, global insurer. Experience with CAR, Public/Products Liability, and Employers Liability insurance is beneficial. Strong communication and influencing skills are required, along with industry knowledge and understanding of trends. CII qualifications or progress are expected.
