Job summary

Quack Recruitment & Training is seeking a Trainee Construction Tutor to support construction training programmes and Skills Bootcamps. No prior teaching experience is required as training will be provided, with a positive attitude and willingness to learn essential.

Responsibilities include assisting with lessons, preparing materials, and supporting learners to develop knowledge and employment readiness. Travel to various delivery venues and adherence to safeguarding and safety procedures are

Qualifications

• Strong work ethic and reliable attendance.
• Good computer skills including email, Word, PowerPoint and Teams.
• Strong communication skills with groups.
• Good organisation and attention to deadlines.
• Patient and approachable when supporting learners.
• Willingness to travel to different delivery locations.

Responsibilities

• Train alongside experienced colleagues to develop construction training delivery skills.
• Progress towards delivering training sessions independently with guidance.
• Help adult learners develop construction knowledge and employment readiness.
• Prepare learning materials, presentations and classroom activities.
• Support diverse learners and adapt approach with guidance.
• Complete attendance registers, learner progress reviews and course paperwork on time.
• Use Microsoft Office, Teams and online learner management systems.
• Monitor learner engagement and progress and raise concerns as needed.
• Travel to different training venues as required and follow safety procedures.
