Job summary

jgr-educate in Wales is seeking a Training Advisor – Construction/Built Environment on a fixed term contract. The post focuses on supporting learners undertaking vocational training and employment opportunities to meet contractual requirements.

You will deliver qualifications, teach sessions, design learning materials, assess competence, manage learner caseloads, maintain records, and liaise with external bodies. A driving licence and willingness to travel across South Wales are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ supervisory experience in construction and built environment.
• Experience delivering class-based theory and practical sessions.
• Willing to travel across South Wales with a full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver agreed vocational and technical/knowledge based qualifications.
• Teach learners in line with individual learning plans and timescales.
• Design and deliver learning materials to support courses.
• Assess and internally verify vocational competence and skills.
• Manage a caseload of learners within the sector(s).
• Maintain learner records and programme documentation.
