Key Responsibilities
- Conduct NPORS training for plant and machinery, ensuring participants acquire the necessary skills and knowledge.
- Manage a cohort of learners, carrying out assessments and evaluations of their knowledge, skills and behaviours, ensuring they are at the required standards for industry and meeting external awarding organisation (sqa) requirements.
- Assess and evaluate trainees' performance, providing constructive feedback for improvement.
- Collaborate with the training team to continuously enhance the quality of our programmes.
- Conduct yearly Plant Operator Assessments.
- Keep abreast of industry developments and incorporate best practices into training programmes.
- Maintaining a safe workplace without risk to health.
- Travel to sites across the central belt will be required.
Qualifications/Skills Required
- Qualified SVQ Assessor - Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement*.
- Instructor Award - NPORS (Preferable) or CPCS.
- Plant Operations - Various Categories Required.
- Proven experience as a Plant Trainer/Instructor.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Effective delivery of Training & Toolbox Talks.
- First Aid Assessor (Preferable).
- Full UK Driving Licence.
