Job summary

Randstad UK CPE team is recruiting a Traffic Marshall for a residential project in Banbury. The role is temporary, for 2 weeks, on a busy construction site. You will help manage vehicle movements, use signals and radios, and support site safety.

Key requirements include a valid NPORS or CPCS card for Traffic Marshall, prior on-site traffic marshal experience, a checkable work reference, and clear communication skills. Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Guiding vehicles and heavy machinery through designated routes to ensure smooth traffic flow.
• Using hand signals, signs, and radios to communicate clearly with drivers and operators.
• Monitoring the site for obstructions or unsafe conditions and taking action to mitigate risks.
• Implementing traffic management plans and ensuring pedestrian safety at crossing points.
• Assisting with site security and maintaining records of traffic flow or incidents.
• Participating in toolbox talks and reporting hazards to site management.
