Description

We are looking for organized and trustworthy Construction Technicians to join Extrastaff Limited. Our growing business requires motivated, result-driven individuals who take pride in quality workmanship. Flexibility in work locations is preferred, as you may be asked to work across the country to support various projects.

The Construction Technician will be responsible for:

• Performing tasks within your skills and capabilities necessary for the company's operations.
• Ensuring compliance with all aspects of contracts, projects, or tasks, and delivering customer service that meets or exceeds expectations.
• Erecting scaffolding or ladders for structures above ground level.
• Creating structures, forms, chutes, and pouring concrete.
• Covering subfloors with building paper and installing flooring materials such as hardwood, parquet, or wood-strip blocks.
• Filling cracks or defects in plaster or plasterboard, and sanding patches.
• Positioning and securing steel bars, rods, cables, or mesh in concrete forms.
• General site cleaning and site maintenance as required.
• Loading, unloading, and transporting building materials, tools, and equipment.
• Performing all other duties as assigned.

Pay conditions: $25.00 to $32.00 per hour

Hours of work: Minimum 30 hours guaranteed

Skills and experience required:

• Experience in the construction industry is preferable but not essential.

This is a permanent, full-time position.
