North West/ temporary / £140 - 220 per day

Are you passionate about shaping the next generation of construction professionals? An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a forward-thinking, high-performing secondary school and sixth form in St Helens, known for its strong vocational pathways and commitment to student success.

We are seeking an experienced Construction Teacher with the ability to deliver high-quality lessons to students at Key Stages 4 and 5, inspiring learners and equipping them with the practical and theoretical skills needed for the modern construction industry.

In a Teaching role, classroom presence and management are important, and a good level of communication is vital to success of this role. Planning, prepping and marking will be expecting as a Construction teacher so is ideally something you should have experience in. Most importantly you should be completely confident in your abilities to conduct a lesson utilising your subject knowledge with the ability to adapt your lessons to the student’s ability.

The successful Construction Teacher will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching construction to KS4 and KS5 (BTEC, T-Level, or equivalent).
• Strong industry knowledge and a passion for hands-on, skills-based education.
• Excellent classroom management and the ability to engage learners of all abilities.
• A commitment to safeguarding, equality, and high standards of teaching and learning.
