Job Description

Lehman Daman is seeking a skilled and experienced Superintendent responsible for overseeing and coordinating all activities of various projects. The role involves meeting with project managers, engineers, and architects to determine construction needs, devising schedules and timelines, and overseeing subcontractors throughout the project. Candidates should have experience in project management and construction, with the ability to meet deadlines and stay within budgets.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage construction projects daily on-site
• Lead by example and promote a culture of safety, demonstrating a passion for safety excellence
• Maintain project schedules, manage suppliers, control costs, and ensure quality
• Communicate effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, and owners
• Perform carpentry tasks as needed, such as installing doors, hardware, blocking, and partitions
• Maintain required documentation, including daily reports, timesheets, safety audits, and drawings
• Act as a mediator among onsite personnel to develop mutually beneficial solutions
• Conduct project walkthroughs and complete punch list items after project completion

Skills

• Effective on-site leadership and communication skills
• 10-Hour OSHA training (30-Hour OSHA training provided by Lehman Daman if needed)
• Proficiency with basic technology (email, mobile devices, tablets, digital photography)
• Organized, thorough, and analytical work ethic

Education and Experience

• Minimum of three (3) years managing work as a foreman and/or superintendent
• High school Diploma or GED required
