Job Description:

As Construction Superintendent, responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and budgeting for small projects involving the construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems. Experience in managing $5-15M+ new build construction projects, including power distribution, lighting, and specialty systems.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing small to medium projects with 5 to 30 personnel
• Collaborating with management, owners, contractors, and design professionals
• Supervising and mentoring workers and technicians
• Scheduling projects to meet deadlines
• Allocating labor and resources
• Interpreting plans and contract terms
• Negotiating contractual revisions
• Monitoring budgets and project compliance
• Ensuring safety standards and regulations
• Evaluating personnel performance
• Coordinating with engineering teams
• Reading blueprints and schematics
• Planning equipment and materials
• Obtaining permits and managing manpower forecasts
• Maintaining detailed project records
• Providing status updates to management
• Addressing customer concerns

Requirements:

• Active Secret Security Clearance
• Experience managing small projects for 5+ years
• High school diploma with 10+ years of experience

• Reliable attendance and flexible work schedule, including nights and weekends
• Travel required: OCONUS August 2023, returning to project sites upon completion
