Construction Solicitor (Non-Contentious) / Commercial Solicitor – Exciting Career Development Opportunity

Work on a broad mix of commercial work while helping to grow a non-contentious construction practice

I’m working with a forward-thinking law firm that is expanding its Construction and Commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Solicitor with non-contentious construction law experience to play a key role in developing the practice, while also handling a wide variety of general commercial matters.

About You You’ll have a solid background in non-contentious construction law, including experience advising on JCT and NEC contracts, and will be comfortable drafting and negotiating a range of commercial contracts. You’ll also be someone who:

• Is keen to help build and grow a non-contentious construction practice Enjoys working with a varied client base — from large corporates and international companies to SMEs and start-ups Combines technical expertise with strong commercial acumen and the ability to provide practical, real-world advice Is confident managing your own matters while contributing to the development of junior colleagues

The Role You’ll be based within the firm’s Commercial team, working closely with both non-contentious and contentious construction specialists as well as colleagues in the wider Business Services team. The work will include:

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating construction contracts (JCT, NEC and bespoke agreements) Advising on a range of commercial contracts across multiple sectors Playing an active role in business development and client relationship management Collaborating with highly experienced partners on both construction and wider commercial projects
