Job Title: Senior/Principal Associate – Non-Contentious Construction
PQE: 5+ years
Location: Oxfordshire
Salary: £75-95K + DOE

The Role:
This is an exceptional opportunity for a Construction Solicitor to join a market-leading and nationally ranked team within a top 50 UK law firm. Working on complex and high-value transactions across the private and public sectors, you will be advising clients including central government bodies, life sciences developers, major investors, and renowned educational institutions.

You’ll handle a broad mix of work including:
  • Drafting and negotiating construction documents (JCT, NEC, bespoke forms)
  • Advising on consultant appointments, collateral warranties, parent company guarantees, and bonds
  • Reviewing construction obligations in property and funding documents
  • Supporting due diligence in corporate and real estate transactions
  • Assisting clients on modern construction methods and ESG-related developments
  • Leading on post-completion matters and legal research
  • Contributing to business development, client training, and thought leadership initiatives
You’ll enjoy working as part of a collegiate national team with strong support, resources, and a clear career pathway.

The Candidate:
You will be an experienced Construction Lawyer (5+ PQE), ideally with a background in non-contentious work at a recognised regional, national or City firm. You’ll bring:
