Job summary

An international law firm in Leeds is seeking a Construction & Engineering Solicitor with 4-6 years PQE to join its growing team. You will work on high-profile UK and international projects across renewable energy, utilities, data centres, infrastructure and major developments.

Join a practice that handles JCT, NEC and FIDIC contracts, with exposure to project finance and procurement, and collaborate with leading Partners on high-value matters. Hybrid working includes three days in the office.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years' PQE in Construction & Engineering law.
• Experience with construction contracts, procurement and development projects.
• Knowledge of JCT, NEC and/or FIDIC contracts.
• An interest in energy, infrastructure and major development work.
• Strong technical ability, commercial awareness and communication skills.

Responsibilities

BCL Legal is working with a leading international law firm seeking a Construction & Engineering Solicitor to join its growing Leeds team.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile UK and international projects across renewable energy, utilities, data centres, infrastructure and major developments. The team is experiencing strong growth and advises an impressive client base, including FTSE 100 companies, energy businesses, developers, contractors, investors and public sector organisations.

The Role

• Offshore wind, solar and green hydrogen developments.
• Energy, utilities and infrastructure projects.

• Residential, commercial and mixed-use developments.
• UK and international construction and development projects.
• Project finance and procurement arrangements.

You will gain experience working with JCT, NEC, FIDIC and bespoke construction contracts, alongside leading Partners and experienced lawyers on high-value matters.

About You

• 4-6 years' PQE in Construction & Engineering law.
• Experience with construction contracts, procurement and development projects.
• Knowledge of JCT, NEC and/or FIDIC contracts.
