Job description

Construction Solicitor 4+ PQE, Berkshire, Excellent £ Salary + Benefits. This is an outstanding opportunity to join the growing non-contentious Construction team of this Legal 500 firm and play an active role in the development of the practice.

THE ROLE:
This highly regarded firm is seeking an experienced Construction Lawyer to join their expanding team, eager to develop their career with a range of commercial and non-contentious construction work. You will collaborate closely with the wider Business Services team, supporting a diverse client base that includes international corporations, start-ups, and fast-growing scale-ups. The role also involves contributing to business development and marketing efforts, where you will take an active role in building strong relationships with clients, professional contacts, and establishing your own network.

THE CANDIDATE:
The successful candidate will have previous experience of at least 4 years’ PQE, with a strong technical background in construction law matters including JCT and NEC contracts, and experience in commercial contract and data protection work. You should be confident managing a broad range of matters independently, while also demonstrating a collaborative approach—supporting more complex cases alongside senior colleagues and offering guidance to junior team members as needed.

THE FIRM:
This full-service Legal 500 firm provides a supportive environment where you can grow your career and contribute to the development of the practice. Known for delivering practical, solutions-focused advice to its clients, you will be joining a team that values professional growth and delivering exceptional results for clients while maintaining a genuinely supportive and inclusive workplace.
