Job summary

NRL Recruitment is seeking a Site Van Driver/Labourer to support a major construction project in Market Harborough. Based on site, you will transport materials between the logistics hub and various buildings, ensuring safe loading and timely deliveries while complying with site security and health and safety rules.

You must hold a full, clean UK driving licence and a valid CSCS card, with van driving or delivery experience. The role is Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:30pm, with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Full, clean UK driving licence.
• Previous van driving or delivery experience.
• Knowledge of safe loading and unloading practices.
• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to schedules.
• Physically fit and capable of manual work.
• Reliable and punctual with good communication skills.
• Valid CSCS card.

Responsibilities

• Drive the company van to deliver materials safely across the site each day.
• Load and unload materials securely, ensuring compliance with site instructions.
• Accurately manage delivery notes, checking and returning documentation as required.
• Complete deliveries efficiently, following site schedules.
• Maintain a clean and tidy van and report any charging or mechanical issues.
• Put the electric van on charge every evening as per site procedure.
• Follow site security and health and safety rules at all times.
• Report to the Logistics Manager with daily updates on deliveries, issues or delays.
• Support additional logistics or stores tasks as needed.
• General labouring as and when required.
