Job summary

JRL Group is seeking an experienced Storeman for a Borehamwood project. The role covers control of construction materials, issuing items to contractors, and maintaining accurate stock records on site. Immediate start with up to 3 months of work.

The candidate should have CSCS, knowledge of construction materials, and be able to communicate in English. Working hours are 08:00–18:00, Monday to Friday, with a 1-hour lunch break.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience as a storeman on construction projects.
• Must have good knowledge of construction materials.
• Must hold a valid CSCS card.
• Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Control materials in/out of the stores.
• Issue materials to contractors from the stores using the formal issue procedure.
• Check site stored materials weekly and report stock levels and issues to Midgard Management.
• Maintain neat, legible stock records and issue weekly reports.
• Identify when stocks need replenishment to avoid shortages.
• Keep stores tidy and organized and receive deliveries, reporting issues immediately.

Storeman

JRL Group are looking for an experienced Storeman for a project at Borehamwood, WD6. This contract is available to start immediately and we can offer up to 3 months work.

JOB DUTIES

• Must have a good knowledge of construction materials and plant.
• Control Materials In / Out of the Stores.
• Issue materials to Contractors from the Stores using a formal Issue Procedure
• Check site stored materials weekly and report on stock levels and any storage issues to Midgard Management.
• Maintain neat, tidy and legible Stock Records and issue weekly to Midgard Management.
• Identify when material stocks need to be replenished in good time
• Keep the stores tidy and organised.
• Accept and check deliveries. Report any issues to Midgard Management immediately.
• Collect & sign delivery documentation. Issue to Midgard Management weekly.

HOURS & PAY

• Up to 3 months Work
• 08:00am – 6:00pm Monday to Friday (1hr lunch break) 10hrs paid per day

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 1 years experience as a storeman on construction projects
• Good knowledge of construction materials
• Must have a Valid CSCS
• PPE Required
• Must be able to communicate in English both verbally and written
• Valid Work Permit / Right to Work in UK
