We are currently seeking an experienced Temporary Site Manager with a strong background in Groundworks and SFA Piling to oversee and manage a high-profile construction project. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the site, maintaining safety standards, and leading a team of subcontractors to meet project goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Site Supervision: Oversee day-to-day operations on site, ensuring work is carried out efficiently and safely.
Groundworks & SFA Piling: Manage all aspects of groundworks, including excavation, drainage, and SFA piling activities.
Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular site inspections, and addressing any issues promptly.
Quality Control: Monitor and inspect the work to ensure it meets the project specifications and quality standards.
Subcontractor Management: Coordinate and manage subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of the project.
Reporting: Provide regular updates to senior management regarding progress, delays, and issues that may arise.
Problem Solving: Proactively resolve any site issues and ensure the project stays on track.
Requirements:
Experience: Proven experience as a Site Manager with specific expertise in Groundworks and SFA Piling.
Certifications: Valid CSCS Card, SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme), and First Aid certification.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of groundworks processes, piling techniques, and relevant equipment.
Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and motivate teams, manage multiple tasks, and ensure high standards of work.
Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Problem-Solving: Ability to think on your feet and make quick decisions when faced with challenges on site.
Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing project needs and timelines.
