Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Manager to lead the civil and electrical installation of a 132kV grid connection at a Solar PV site in Nottingham. This role is crucial for the successful execution of a new electrical grid connection, contributing to the development of renewable energy infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the Civil and Electrical installation: Oversee all aspects of the project.
Lead on-site teams: Schedule work, manage rosters, track KPIs, ensure safety, and support team development.
Oversee 3rd party contractors: Ensure smooth collaboration and integration.
Manage project budget: Report and coordinate with the commercial team.
Enforce safety policies: Ensure the wellbeing of all staff.
Conduct Quality and Safety Inspections/Audits.
Handle contractual requirements: managing variations, estimates, and approvals.
Represent the company locally: Engage with landowners and local stakeholders.
Communicate effectively: Liaise with clients, project managers, and subcontractors.
Promote teamwork: Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Ensure compliance: Follow Health & Safety and Environmental policies and procedures.
Conduct risk assessments: Implement and audit Safe Systems of Work (SSOW).
