Carpentry Site Manager Required in Swanley

GVR Solutions are currently working alongside an existing client of ours who are a specialist Carpentry and Joinery contractor based in Kent who are currently looking for an experienced Site Manager to join their well-established team. They have just landed a project in Kent which is a New build and timber frame project of a Primary and Secondary School.

Responsibilities of the Carpentry Site Manager:

  • Oversee the day to day running of the site
  • Control and implement health and safety on site
  • Manage quality control and progressive handovers of installation
  • Co-ordinate site activities in line with programme sequence
  • Schedule materials and deliveries in adequate time
  • Attend progress meetings
  • Oversee projects from start through to completion, ensuring works are completed on time
  • Manage record keeping for all contract related correspondence and documentation
  • Provide contract related issue resolution, both internally and externally

As a Carpentry Site Manager you must have/be:

  • Experience as a Site Manager
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Carpentry and Joinery sector
  • Ability to work to programmes and deadlines and be flexible to adapt to change.
  • Have great attention to detail
  • CSCS Card
  • SMSTS card holder.
  • Demonstrate negotiation and problem solving
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
