Overview

Capital is a well-established and versatile Principal Contractor specialising in the dynamic fields of commercial and retail construction.

We currently have an opening for a Site Manager to oversee an 18-week project in Eastbourne. The project is overseeing the landlord enabling work to adapt an existing unit into two separate units, including internal strip-out, roofing works, new services, and new shopfronts. Start on Site: Monday 13th October.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Minimum 5 years of Site Manager experience in the UK.
  • Background in construction and refurbishment works.
  • Proficiency in using Outlook, mobile reporting apps and software and ability to carry out weekly reporting.
  • Strong H&S understanding and control.
  • Strong presentation skills.
Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage daily operations at the site
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Oversee and coordinate work activities of site staff
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve site performance
  • Monitor and maintain site safety standards
  • Manage site budget and expenses
