Job summary

Prospects is recruiting for an onsite construction apprenticeship. You will learn how large projects are delivered, build relationships with construction teams and contractors, and understand safety, quality and planning in practice.

Entry requires an HNC or Level 4 qualification, a related subject, plus five GCSEs including Maths and English, and a willingness to obtain the required security clearance.

Help deliver large construction projects safely and effectively.

This is an onsite construction apprenticeship. Being onsite will help you understand how large projects are delivered, build relationships with construction teams and contractors, and learn how safety, quality and planning are managed in practice.

• Problem-solving: You can use logic and numbers to work through practical challenges.
• Safety and quality: You understand why rules, checking and careful planning matter on a construction site.
• Communication: You can work with different teams, listen to different views and explain information clearly.

Where this apprenticeship could take you

After completing your apprenticeship, you'll have the foundations for a career in construction and site management, with possible roles including Construction Engineer or Construction Manager and a longer-term pathway towards senior and principal construction management roles.

Working pattern

Onsite at AWE Aldermaston and/or Burghfield, with every other Friday off.

Entry requirement
