Job summary

RG Setsquare is seeking a reliable Gateman / Traffic Marshal for a site in Plymouth. You will manage site access, control vehicle movements, and support safety of all personnel and visitors entering and leaving the site.

The role requires a Banksman qualification, construction site experience, and strong organisation. You will log deliveries, assist drivers, and maintain secure gate areas while working Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Valid Banksman / Traffic Marshal qualification.
• Experience on a construction site.
• Reliable, punctual and professional.
• Own transport due to site location.
• Good communication and ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Controlling and monitoring access to the construction site.
• Signing visitors, contractors, and delivery drivers in and out.
• Directing site traffic and deliveries safely around the site.
• Banking and assisting vehicles when manoeuvring.
• Maintaining site security at all times.
• Ensuring pedestrians and vehicles follow designated routes.
• Recording deliveries and keeping accurate site logs.
• Reporting any safety concerns or incidents to site management.
• Keeping the gate area clean, tidy, and organised.
