Job summary

Amazon is seeking a WHS Construction Manager in the United Kingdom to lead health and safety across construction projects. You will ensure sites and vendors meet safety standards and regulations, collaborating with contractors and project teams to embed safe practices from design to delivery.

You will conduct site inspections, review safety documentation, and track safety performance, driving continuous improvements and supporting the wider WHS team across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• English communication skills, written and verbal.
• Bachelor's degree or EQF-equivalent in Construction, Civil/Structural Engineering, or Occupational Safety.
• Understanding and application of WHS risk assessment and safety standards.
• Experience managing health and safety within construction environments.
• Working knowledge of construction safety regulations and vendor/contractor safety management.

Responsibilities

• Ensure projects and vendors comply with Amazon safety standards and local regulations.
• Conduct construction site safety inspections and review vendor safety documentation.
• Partner with project teams and contractors to embed safe working from design through delivery.
• Track construction safety performance and drive closure of identified gaps.
• Support the WHS team in maintaining construction safety standards across projects.
