Job summary

Amazon UK is recruiting a WHS Construction Manager to drive health and safety across construction projects. You will ensure sites and vendors meet safety standards and local regulations, partnering with contractors and project teams to embed safe working from design through delivery.

You will be the safety point of contact for construction activity in your area, perform site inspections, review vendor safety documentation, and track safety performance to close gaps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction, civil/structural engineering or occupational safety as per EQF.
• WHS risk assessment knowledge and practical application.
• Experience managing health and safety in construction environments.
• Working knowledge of construction safety regulations and vendor/contractor safety management.

Responsibilities

• Ensure projects and vendors comply with Amazon safety standards and local regs.
• Conduct safety site inspections and review vendor safety documentation.
• Partner with project teams and contractors to embed safe working from design through delivery.
• Track safety performance and drive closure of identified gaps.
• Support the WHS team in maintaining construction safety standards across projects.
