Thorn Baker Construction, a trusted name in construction recruitment since 1988, is expanding its Birmingham team. We are seeking an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join a warm, established desk in one of the UK's busiest construction markets.

You will manage and grow the desk, build strong client and candidate relationships, and be involved in business development, market mapping, and CRM maintenance. A proactive, people-focused approach is essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in recruitment or sales with a track record of hitting targets.
• Experience in construction recruitment is a plus but not required.
• Strong relationship-building and client-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow an established recruitment desk within construction.
• Win new business and develop existing accounts.
• Source high-quality candidates for temporary and permanent roles.
• Coordinate compliance checks and negotiate offers.
• Maintain and organise CRM systems and keep records up to date.
