Construction/Purchasing Administrator/Accounting Assistant

Northampton - Office based

£25,000 + Pension + Holiday + Private Medical insurance + Training

Join this dynamic team as a Construction/Purchasing administrator. You will be working on the company's invoices, managing materials orders, budgeting, financial planning, and analysis. The Role:

  1. Providing comprehensive office support including telephone, email, social media, and general administration duties.
  2. Weekly payroll; checking timesheets against vehicle trackers, entry onto master spreadsheet, and liaison with accounts in relation to processing payments.
  3. Generation & issue of sub-contract orders.
  4. Process and manage purchase orders for engineering materials, components, and services.
  5. Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier details, and procurement documentation.
  6. Liaise with suppliers to confirm order details, lead times, and pricing.

The Person:

  1. Bookkeeping/accounting experience.
  2. Experience with orders and keeping purchasing records.
  3. Experience using Sage.
  4. Commutable to Northampton.
