Overview

Our client is a leading UK and International law firm who seeks to recruit an Associate to join their existing Construction team in Leeds. This market-leading practice handles a steady stream of national and international renewable energy projects. The team handles complex infrastructure projects, assists with conventional power generation issues, advises on large-scale offshore wind projects and also advises on high-value development projects. They are also recognised as an authority on 'Net Zero Carbon' technologies, like carbon capture and low-carbon hydrogen developments.

Responsibilities
  • Join and contribute to the Construction team in Leeds, focusing on non-contentious construction work within infrastructure, energy and real estate sectors.
  • Support handling a steady stream of national and international renewable energy projects and large-scale developments.
  • Assist with complex infrastructure projects and conventional power generation issues; provide advice on offshore wind and high-value development projects.
  • Engage with and develop client relationships; contribute to the team’s authority on Net Zero Carbon technologies.
Candidate requirements
  • 4 to 8 years PQE gained at a reputable firm.
  • Experience in infrastructure, energy and/or real estate-related transactional (non-contentious) construction work.
  • Keen to develop business.
